What this directory is

Klang Valley Flooring Contractor Guide is an independent directory covering 126 flooring contractor businesses across Klang Valley, from tile and vinyl installers to timber floor specialists and epoxy coating crews. It exists for homeowners, renovators, and property managers who want a plain, side-by-side view of who operates in the area before they pick up the phone. Rather than asking you to trust a single star rating, we try to show the fuller picture: what a business does, how it’s rated publicly, and how it compares to others doing similar work nearby.

We are also honest about the other half of what this site does. Klang Valley Flooring Contractor Guide is an independent directory and comparison resource, and we generate enquiries for local providers as part of that. When you ask to be matched with a contractor, we pass your enquiry to providers relevant to your request, and we may earn a referral fee for doing so. That arrangement is disclosed again on the quote page itself, and it never touches the scores or rankings you see on any listing. Commercial ties and editorial standing are kept in separate lanes, on purpose.

Where the data comes from

Each listing is built from public business information (things like location, services offered, and years trading where available) combined with a synthesis of recent Google reviews. We don’t republish review text or copy comments wholesale; instead we summarise what the pattern of recent feedback says and link out to the business’s Google listing so you can read the original reviews yourself.

How rankings are earned

Rankings come from a published rubric applied consistently to the data we collect, not from payment. You can read exactly how scores are built on our /methodology/ page. A business that appears here can ask us to correct factual details, like an address, phone number, or service list, and we’ll update it. What a business cannot do is edit its own score, its sentiment summary, or its position in the ranking. That stays tied to the data and the rubric, full stop.

Sponsorship, when it appears

Some pages may carry sponsorship. When they do, it’s labelled clearly as “Sponsored,” displayed in its own section separate from the earned ranking, and it never bumps a business up or down the merit-based list. The two systems run side by side, not blended together.

Who’s behind it

This directory is published by MY Homee Guides. Its founder, Adam, spent ten years working in the Klang Valley home service industry before starting the guide, and that hands-on background shaped a fairly plain philosophy: honest, data-grounded ratings that spare homeowners the guesswork. Adam also serves as Managing Editor, overseeing how the rubric is applied and how rankings are maintained across all 126 listings.
